The electric cast iron butterfly valve is a type of automatic on-off regulating valve with a cast iron body and driven by an electric actuator. It is connected by butt joint or flange. It is divided into two types: electric soft-sealed cast iron butterfly valve and electric hard-sealed cast iron butterfly valve. It is a widely used and cost-effective automatic butterfly valve product in municipal, HVAC, water supply and drainage, and constant-pressure and constant-temperature pipeline networks. 

The electric actuator drives the butterfly plate to rotate 90° for opening and closing. It is mainly used in mild working conditions such as normal temperature, normal pressure, clean water, sewage, air, heating and ventilation hot water, etc. It enables remote control of pipeline opening and closing, flow regulation, and emergency shut-off.
